As an author, speaker and publisher, Fiona Fine is growing a movement for women who want to live and love on their terms! Her book “B.I.T.C.H – Babe in Total Control of Herself – HOW TO STOP CHASING MEN AND START CHOOSING LOVE” can be obtained free by going to her website www.BabeInTotalControlofHerself.com. This is not a book for women, it is a book about women; therefore, guys could benefit from reading it. Fiona was asked by Dr. Diana why she wrote the book at this time in her life. She spent 30 years in a man’s world of engineering, and she wanted to reclaim her own femininity and sassiness without sacrificing her sense of humor. In the book she talks about allowing growth without losing oneself, the Courtesan mindset, orgasms and the Fountain of Youth, pleasure and permission. Dr. Diana and Fiona discussed it all!  Indeed, pleasure is a much better place to grow from. What is next on her B.I.T.C.H. journey? Tune-in to find out! Part 2 is June 10, 2014, when Fiona will address how women can self-sabotage – and dating and relationships – and more.

Scott Haltzman, M.D., author of “The Secrets of Surviving Infidelity” Part 2 — May 6, 2014

May 7, 2014 By Diana Wiley

Secrets of Surviving Infidelity

Scott Haltzman, M.D., author of “The Secrets of Surviving Infidelity” returned to the program. In this Part 2, he and Dr. Diana discussed the steps in ending an affair, principles of the apology, guidelines for recovery, and the one rule for a happy marriage. He calls the latter the platinum rule: Treat people as they wish to be treated…Dr. Scott writes, “When people genuinely take an interest in what makes their mates tick and nurture those passions, their mate notices. When a mate feels loved, more often than not he or she gives love in return.” This amounts to giving your spouse a gift, what they want, even if they don’t always want the same thing. There is so much more in this wise psychiatrist’s latest book!  (www.DrScott.com)

Dr. Pepper Schwartz, author of “Dating After 50 for Dummies” — April 29, 2014

Dr. Pepper Schwartz  (www.DrPepperSchwartz.com) discussed her nineteenth book “Dating After 50” (for the DUMMIES brand). Some things about dating never change, no matter how old you are – and this book contains information that applies to people far younger. Dr. Pepper and Dr. Diana discussed GETTING STARTED: being psychologically prepared, knowing your core requirements, brushing up on conversational skills – and even having a relaxed face. The online dating profile is important. How does one create an honest and appealing profile? The two Docs went on to talking about SEX: the love map, giving instructions, body image, safer sex, and more. The interview concluded with two parts of Dr. Pepper’s book: challenges to overcome as well as the signs of a solid and worthy relationship. Dr. Pepper offers good, solid, practical advice. Please listen because you will benefit!

Scott Haltzman, M.D. author of “The Secrets of Surviving Infidelity” — April 22, 2014

Secrets of Surviving Infidelity

Scott Haltzman, M.D. author of “The Secrets of Surviving Infidelity” and Dr. Diana discussed complicated issues surrounding cheating. Our culture seems almost steeped in infidelity, so much so that a jeweler ran ads showing an engagement ring with this tag on it: “Virtually eliminates cheating, since you’ll never want to take it off.” It’s enough to make one wonder: Have we reached the point where staying true to our partner is more a pipe dream than practical? Dr. Scott sorted this out in the PRN interview – and more thoroughly in his excellent book. Why do men and women cheat?  Is infidelity a result of a bad marriage or an inattentive spouse? What is flame addiction? What are the four steps in ending an affair – and why is it sometimes so tough to break it off? It’s a good thing Dr. Scott will return for Part 2, May 6, 2014, because time ran out and we only got the first two steps. In the meantime, go to www.DrScott.com for more information about this brilliant, intuitive, articulate Psychiatrist!

Linda-De Villers-240x300

The Language of Touch. We speak of being “in touch” or “out of touch” – while nurturing is “a healing touch.” Dr. Linda De Villers is an internationally recognized authority on human sexuality who has written most recently about TOUCH. Her previous writings include two books on “Love Skills” and “Simple Sexy Food” (www.SimpleSexyFood.com). She and Dr. Diana spoke about getting in touch with touch. A few of the topics they covered: touch in a baby’s life; how different cultures embrace touch – or don’t; the distinction between sensuality and sexuality; the limitations and benefits of caressing exercises. In her practice she helps couples use caressing exercises to enrich sensual connection and evoke ecstatic experience! So much can be expressed with touch – acceptance, love, disapproval, and desire. It’s important to make deliberate efforts to touch more…For the details, please tune in.

Joan Moran, author of “Sixty, Sex & Tango” — April 8, 2014

April 10, 2014 By Diana Wiley

Joan Moran

Joan Moran, author of “Sixty, Sex and Tango,” a popular keynote speaker, and an insightful blogger for The Huffington Post, returned to the program. Joan’s “10 Ways to Measure Your Life” began with simplification. She explains that living light eliminates the superfluous and reframes mindsets that reflect purpose. Another measure is this: Are you going about the business of being you every day? Joan stresses that you are unique unto yourself. Dr. Diana’s client had an insightful and moving realization: her personal anger and conflict was with herself. Dr. Diana and Joan spoke about ways to increase self-acceptance. Stretching the mind: you can use your mind as a “remote control” to determine which of life’s channels you are going to tune into – deciding which important messages you are going to transmit to the outside world through your behavior. Do you keep an open mind and heart? Minds are like parachutes – they only function when open! Passion was discussed, and if not now, when? No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, and show up! For more from Joan please visit www.JoanFrancesMoran.com.
